So I went the CME lecture this morning at the hospital.
The lecturer said "So if there is a hip fracture..."
And immediately the voices in my head went "And I need to fix it!"
I got the giggles in the middle of the lecture.

Thanks. Now I feel guilty.
Yeah, it's a catch phrase here for Dr. Pissy and I, too.
Gotta commend you, though. I can't remember being awake during a lecture since kindergarten.
Well, having been up all night with several laboring patients...lets just say LOTS and LOTS of coffee was involved.
The only time I go to those CME lectures are when I've been at the hospital all night on Thursday.
My friends and I like that one, too, but our catch phrase is: you are not a real doctor, like me.

It's a little harsh on MDs, but we think it's hilarious - especially those who are boarded or in residency programs.
Hehe. I busted out "I think she has other management priorities" during a surg round on a tubed patient in the ICU last week, and got a round of applause.
What I should do is during a delivery say "There will be minimal blood loss!"
Which, BTW, is a complete an utter lie. OB is bloody!
