First day of this vacation I wake up to daughter puking. Unfortunately, she didn't make it to the bathroom tile and hit the carpet. :(
First day of last vacation I come down with bronchitis from hell.
Last family vacation ended with my Mom in the ICU with a DVT/PE.
I'm thinking I shouldn't go on vacation.

At least I have the time today to fix homemade chicken noodle soup.
The stock will be simmering away in less than an hour...
We just went away for the weekend & my son had a fever & sore throat AND it was his birthday. I suggest that you call your next vacation a business trip & see what happens.
Actually, my next time off is a conference I'm going to in Orlando. Taking the family with me so we can pre-conference hit WDW, then they'll leave while I get to be bored out of my skull.
Let's see who gets sick then!
