Difference between me and hubby:

Me buying Halloween candy : I buy the stuff I DON'T like, so that I'm not tempted to eat out of the bowl while passing out the candy.

Hubby : Buys the good stuff. Great, now I have to exercise a lot of restraint while handing out the candy.

It was hard last night passing out the good stuff. I only ate 6 pieces.

Um, Halloween is tonight. Whoooooo were you handing it out to?

Fortunately, our neughborhood is such no one comes here. We just drive a mail to another neighborhood and go there, and don't have to buy candy to give out.

Damn small town decided years ago that Trick-or-Treat is always on the Friday night before Halloween (or if Halloween is on a Friday, that night). So I spent Thursday night frantically sewing the girl's costume and taping the boy's costume in time for them to wear it.

She was a character from an obscure fantasy book series about dragons. He was an airplane.
