January's finalized call schedule. One of my partners is notorious for never checking his email. I honestly don't know why I bother emailing him the schedule. He's on Monday the third. Any bets as to me getting a 7:05 am phone call from him on Monday, pissed that he doesn't know that he's on call?
And yes, I know Mondays are officially his day off. But when you take an 11 day vacation, you got to make up some days. He's still only has 8 calls in the month (we have a 3 person call for now).

He is hopeless about a lot of things. He needs a mother, wife and secretary to function but he doesn't have all of them.
Annoys the snot out of me to have to deal with someone who can't handle a simple schedule.
For example, on 12/26, I'm on L&D doing a delivery when he calls and asks who was on call for Monday because he didn't have the schedule. The L&D staff were amused at my answer : not me, I'm on vacation starting tomorrow. I know I sign out to the other doc, but beyond that, I have no idea & I don't really care.
He didn't even know I was on vacation this week so he would have to take some extra call this week. smirk
