Anatomy fail

1. The ovary and the uterus are NOT the same.

2. No the baby will not come out of your anus. "You mean there are 4 holes?"
"Four?" I'm really confused.
"The pee-hole, the sex-hole, and the poop-hole. So the baby comes out the 4th hole?"
My cheeks that day were bitten raw to keep a straight face.

I'd encourage an abortion followed by sterilization. This genetic pool needs to end.

Oh my. That is very sad. I hope this person does a better job educating their child about the human body than their mother did. I hope this was the first baby . . .

I don't know what to say. Considering how sexualized our culture is, how do people NOT know these things? *sigh*

Um, wow. Though I have had some students who are absolutely convinced that when they have their periods, they are bleeding out their "pee hole". I've even had some students who didn't realize that the "pee hole" and the "sex hole" aren't one and the same in women. College students, no less.

Granted, I used to believe that there was one "drinking tube" and a "food tube" in the throat... how else could you exlain that it came out separate as well?!

I was about thirteen, though.

The term "sex hole" alone makes me cringe. Strange that some people believe in either "one hole to pee/sex them all" or "four seperate holes"... is it really so hard?? Have they never seen a biology book?

Of course there are 4 holes.......

I neglected to say the one in the face which is where the genes for this person should have gone instead.

I'm sure she was very upset when she learned that the baby would come out the sex hole, and it would hurt for a while.

Oh PLEASE tell me this was not a pregnant patient asking these questions. Poor woman.
For all those people out there who don't think it's appropriate to talk about this stuff to their kids, THIS is why it matters!

#1 was not pregnant, just arguing with me.

#2 was pregnant. Sigh.
