What do you want me to do?

If you list Toradol, codeine, Vicodin, Ultram, NSAIDs, tylenol, and morphine as allergies.

I can't keep you forever on IV Dilaudid...even if you did just have surgery.

Looks like plain ole ibuprofen is all you get.

Sounds like my dad. He's allergic to almost every pain killer there is. Stinks. So far, I'm just allergic to aspirin and NSAIDs. Morphine makes me really nauseous. Awesome family trait, eh?

And by allergic I mean we carry epipens because we've both almost died because doctors didn't believe us and gave us meds anyway. Nice to find docs who believe us and are willing to work with us to find something that helps and won't kill us. :)

Watercolordaisy,
Her "allergic" means stuff like "My head feels funny". But Dilaudid works really well. And nausea, FWIW, is not a true allery - it's a known side effect. I can control that with lots of different meds (some of which are synergystic for pain control too!).

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.
