First, I don't play golf.
Second, was talking to one of my partners. We've both had awful cases recently, involving death or serious morbidity. And she said "You were trying to do everything to ensure a vaginal delivery instead of cutting her before 5 pm. Don't you wish that sometimes we just did what we're always being accused of doing by the lunatics? But we don't, we try to do what is best for the patient."
FUCK YOU NCB crowd.

I also don't play golf, damnit. I'm too busy doing deliveries to even find the time to learn!
I was miserable, swollen with fluid and was going to deliver in the next 24 hours anyway so I let my golf playing OB deliver me so he could meet his friends for a game of golf the next day. I don't feel bad about it and I'm sure he doesn't either.
I've never played golf. Unless you count courses that have windmills and haunted houses on them.
But that doesn't stop people from complaining that it must be the reason I won't see patients after a certain hour. Nope. It's so I can do hospital rounds.
